Manuscripts

Incentive Publications, Inc. publishes teacher resource materials. We publish no fiction.

If you have a manuscript that you think would be suitable for our needs, you may send: a letter of introduction; a table of contents; a sample chapter; and a self-addressed stamped envelope. If you would like your materials returned to you, please include an envelope large enough to hold the materials and with sufficient return postage. We make every effort to reply within 6-8 weeks. Art Guidelines

Incentive Publications looks for a whimsical, warm style of illustration that respects the integrity of the child. Black and white line art is used for the inside illustrations of our books. Four-color art in any medium is used for our cover art. Good quality Xeroxes, photostats or printed pieces are acceptable for showing line art pieces through the mail. Color photographs or printed pieces are best for showing four-color work through the mail. Please mail samples to:
