

Marjorie Frank has been an IP author for thirty years. Probably best known for her popular writing guide, If You're Trying to Teach Kids to Write, You've Gotta Have this Book!, she has written hundreds of books for teachers, parents, and children. Most recently, her writing has focused on the Basic/Not Boring! Series. This collection contains 65 books of inventive exercises to sharpen skills in all subject areas. It is accompanied by a companion series of the 14 Basic/Not Boring, Books of Tests and a four-volume set of books designed to help students succeed, If You're Trying to Get Better Grades and Higher Test Scores, You Gotta Have This Book. Her 2006 titles include four books in the Use It! Don't Lose It! daily practice series.
Marjorie lives on top of a mountain on a college extension campus in southern Oregon where she helps to nurture groups of eager college students who come to Oregon for a one-semester interdisciplinary experience. She also continues to conduct workshops and in-service programs throughout the country.
Marjorie's background as a parent, classroom teacher, college instructor, supervisor of student teachers, writer, and consultant has given her a wide range of practical experiences with all kinds of writers and students. She currently serves as a Creative Consultant for Incentive Publications helping other authors to develop top-notch products for today's teachers, students, and administrators.
